MARK YOUR CALENDARS! OCTOBER 27TH!
BUSINESS Queen Anne's is setting up our annual Membership Meeting and it is tentatively set for October 27th at Red Eyes! Once it is set definitely with speakers, we will get the details to you, but for now...

MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR OCTOBER 27TH!

FOUR SEASONS UPDATE
Thank you to everyone who attended the Board of Appeals hearings regarding Four Seasons! You are probably aware that the Board voted unanimously to approve the Final Subdivision and Site Plan for Phase 1.

The witnesses for K. Hovnanian touted the state of art storm water system and explained the many traffic studies that were performed. Every regulation has not only been met, but exceeded in many incidences.

According to the attorney for K. Hovnanian, Joe Stevens, "We're just really pleased that the board made the right decision and finally approved this project."

Stay tuned for the next step in the process. As we've said before we believe...

IT'S TIME TO PUT A SHOVEL IN THE GROUND!

SOUTHERN KENT ISLAND UPDATE
On August 23rd, the Queen Anne's County Commissioner's approved three construction contract bids associated with the SKI Sanitary project with a 3-2 vote. (Commissioner's Steve Wilson and Robert Buckey opposed)

As we said in last month's newsletter, After more than 30 years of studying and discussing this project, we are happy to see it moving forward. We also applaud the County's efforts to round up as much State funding and grant monies for this project.

JOIN A COUNTY BOARD!

The appointments will commence in the coming weeks and the terms vary. Applicants must be residents of Queen Anne's County.
